Bio

Born May 14th, 1995, with an iconic and unique sound, Tajé blends his classically trained voice with roots in R&B, Soul, and Jazz to create unforgettable 21st century works of art. With a history of professional music performance that spans over a decade, Tajé has just released his first EP entitled "Neo Glow" on August 1st, 2022. This project captures his original neo soul sound with live instrumentation. Tajé has performed all over the United States and in Mexico. His ability to sing a variety of genres with integrity, play a plethora of musical instruments with undeniable skill, along with a past of poetry and rap, encompasses a powerful punch packed in one. To top off his self-driven music career, Tajé holds a master's degree in jazz performance from North Carolina Central University, an HBCU located in Durham, NC. Here he gathered composition skills, performance etiquette, ear training, and invaluable performance experience including a ticket to perform at the Jazz Education Network (JEN) in Reno, Nevada with NCCU's prestigious Vocal Jazz Ensemble. Tajé now continues to push his solo career to the elite level.
